My Thoughts about Agent 0's Actions

This morning while i was in my office on espn.com, I came across a very good article. This article was about how the league perceived all the black players in the NBA and the punishment of Gilbert Arenas. I think this is pretty sad how when a black man does wrong all of a sudden he is labeled a thug, or if he wears earrings or jewelry he is considered a gangster. I mean i know what Gilbert Arenas did was totally wrong but this was really like his first time getting in trouble in the league. The guy really doesn't have a bad history. I wonder how they would've responded if a white player had guns in the locker room would he serve the same punishment as Agent 0? probably not! I just think that the NBA shouldn't be so scripted and racist in a sense. All black guys that wear jewelery are not thugs! And just because you make one mistake don't make you one ether. I also think that Gilbert should not be suspended for the rest of the season, he should be able to come back after all star weekend. I mean the man is finally healthy this year and cant even do the thing he loves most which is play basketball. Have some sympathy, think about how it feels to be in his shoes.
