This weeks ManVs.Dream is Guyana born Clay Nurse the starting Defensive Lineman of the Illinois Fighting Illini. I've got the the honor of knowing Clay Since highschool and man did this guy come along way. I'm so proud of his growth as an athlete and as a human being in general. He came to my highschool in the 10th grade from his country Guyana ,which was a whole nother world from the states. He soon got accustomed to the way of living and joined the football and basketball team, where over the years he became a monster. He received a scholarship to play for the University of Illinois and triumphed over one of the dreams he's been wanting to accomplish his whole life!
His progression didn't stop there! Clay showed improvement over the four years as a fighting Illini, receiving several All Big Ten awards and honors. In his last year, he lead his team to the Texas Bowl title which one of his greatest accomplishments as a fighting Illini. Now Clay is preparing and training hard for the NFL combine/Draft next year. This man is determined and shall triumph over all of his dreams, I wish him the best and he has my support 100%!
