Word on the street is that Kanye is finally done with Nike and their foolish antics. Kanye West has opted out of his long-standing relationship with Nike, choosing to work with adidas’ Y-3 imprint instead. The new project, hereby referred to as “YEEZI,” was referred to by West at his November 20 show. Reportedly, the venture comes as a result of West spending time with Yohji Yamamoto during the 2014 Mercedes-Benz NYFW show. This shift marks the latest chapter of Yeezy’s ongoing ventures in high fashion, having recently spent time with a team in Milan to design his forthcoming namesake label. Look for more news on “YEEZI” as it surfaces. So is this farewell to the "Red Octobers" by Nike that never seemed to surface?
